Yosemite’s Badger Pass (CA)

Located in the heart of world-famous Yosemite National Park, Badger Pass is California’s original ski resort. Since opening in 1935, Badger Pass Ski Area has been a favorite ski destination for families and Yosemite enthusiasts.

The ski area is accessible by vehicle or via free shuttle bus from all Yosemite Valley lodging. 

Yosemite’s Badger Pass is serviced by 4 chairlifts and one rope tow.


Famous For:

-One of only 3 ski areas in the country to exist inside the boundaries of a National Park.

-Plentiful snowshoe and cross country ski trails nearby, as well as downhill tubing serviced by a rope tow.


Infamous For:

-Relatively short season.

-Limited vertical terrain.

-No access from the East in the Winter as Tioga Pass is closed during Winter months.
